Homelessness

Hundreds of people are homeless. They don’t have anywhere to go, while sitting in the summer heat, and freezing in the winter snow. Roaming the streets with empty stomaches, they are always hoping for food. Many set their goals too low, but they have nothing left to lose. For some people its not their fault, they need help to get on their feet. So many hope for a new start. We can give the support they need.

I choose to write about homelessness because I think it is a big issue in the United States. I think it is often overlooked and many people don't bother to help. I think that there are more than one reason for why people end up homeless and we shouldn't turn the other way. We should be reaching out to help them like we would want others to reach out if we were in their situation.
