Encasement of inequity,
Familiarity surrounds.
That likeness, once assuredly,
My heart-strum's fervent pound--
Has dissipated--in a sun,
A thread riveting true;
Where mem'ries come undone,
And thoughts return to You.
For those who quoted hearts-ease,
Have never held the nigh
Of discord and displease;
Untroubled by the sigh,
Of song becoming vespers--
Muffled through eventide,
The chorus soaked in whispers,
Though the soul cannot confide;
The billowings of yearning,
For the origin of Full;
'Til faith is freed in morning--
The dawning of His pull.
