Homeward bound ...

Jeremiah 9:7

Therefore the Lord Who rules over all says,

“I will now purify them in the fires of affliction and test them.
The wickedness of My dear people has left Me no choice.
What else can I do?

Affliction

Affliction does not come from dust

neither trouble from the ground

and that also goes for unrestrained lust

as we are “Homeward” bound.

The pains and aches which slowly take

control of all your senses,

will take you where desires roam

and no will left to quench it.
