Homophobia meets gun control

What happened to Adam and Eve?

I can’t believe you said that to me

You don’t know what I’ve been through

I know my God more than you

I lived it, I learned it, I even believed it

People say I’ll end up in a fiery pit

Your religion isn’t my religion

I hate the world that you must live in

My God is loving and gracious

Yours must be sexist and racist

You get offended by my lesbian bullshit

Say all you want, nothing will stop it

I am who I am and I’ll love who I want

Your hatred stems from your desire to hunt

You won’t listen to me, because you think I am less than

Because you need a gun to make you feel like a man

My children deserve to learn in a safe place

They shouldn’t fear having a gun put their face

There’s no sense in fighting with you

I’ll run for office and do what you wont’t do

I’ll pass legislation

I’ll save the next generation

You cowards will sit back and cling to your guns

And I’ll smile because my war has been won
