Honesty

I want to be honest

Maybe a bit modest

On what I would need

If I were to be freed

To a place with no people

Devoid of arrogant sheeple

A book would not save me

Nor would love for the sea

I would need one thing

Can you not see?

A boat is too obvious

And not at all serious

I honestly need one thing

It is not a song to sing

I would only need water

With no animals to slaughter

I can make due with the plants

If there are not any ants

So call me a stick in the mud

I would simply prefer a flood

So that I may survive

And continue to jive

While the world revovles

And my pain resolves
