Honey

Dr aw near

Tou ch me

With your palms of laughing lights

With tips of thousand suns and moons

Closer than water to my earth.

Ark unto the arch of my craving heart

Ta ke me in perpetuity

Give my day a name if you may

While I lay to let you touch my sky

Come closer than the air is to my breath.

Into the very depth of my soul

Speak to me in a whole new whole

Let my portals pivot fountains

I dream of every day

down each crest and rim.

Fee l me to the brim

As sands would unto their own mountains

On your way

again

seek me on the paths that call.

Crave me like the passion of players with their balls

Score me goals of pretty flowers

From offsprings of the divine universe

Draw near

Touch me.

See the day in my eyes

While I wait for seasons, months, and years

Make every second, minute, and hour count

Loving each other

In sweetnesses’ call.
