Hop on the Magic School Bus

Each word line by line

Describes a feeling

Each word rhyme with rhyme

Provides a healing

No matter the time or circumstance

There is always a relief

Poetry puts my mind in a hypnotic trance

One where everyone is nice

One where I am at peace

One where my soul isnt ice

There is always a relief

Poetry has taught me to accept

Regardless of societies wishes

Poetry has taught me to love in depth

Regardless of harmful intentions

It is an opening

to another world

It is the helping

of a young girl

The young girl I once was

Scared of facing reality

Scared of pulling the plug

But there is always a relief
