Hope

Recently what’s written down has been black ink And next to that have been scribbles of red pen But today id like to pick up a pink crayon and draw between the lines to illustrate hope I know that there is happiness in some places I’ve found it so unexpectedly In so many places after all. I just get this sense of burden that comes with being relied upon Also the obvious problem of the secrets I hide But the shadows have gotten tiresome and solemn Here’s how I wish to live my life It’s a simple day dream but maybe this can be true! I will pick up a pink crayon and mark between the lines of anguish Then I’ll look back and realize all the bad times were worth the happiness in the stories we told later To the point where all i remember is your smiling face now In darkness there is light In light there’s darkness That means all that I need is to look harder! Right? Walking and walking Walking thought a technicolored dream Of my design Happy is here Don’t you agree? Don’t you agree? This is a true masterpiece! All the times that I’ve felt stones in my throat All the feelings come at once and my mind blanks And then I remember the one feeling in the back of my head. It’s a fluttering sensation inside my chest A particularly strong feeling It lifts me up sometimes and makes me want to walk another day. Sometimes it makes me live outside of my eyes And I notice myself in all of their light But then i realize the spark I’ve actively dimmed my whole life And it comes back when i look into your eyes of bright grey and passion. In darkness there is light Look closely my friend! In This world you have so many people to love If not then yourself is a start Not everything can go right but I know we can survive together in harmony! So pick up your pink crayon Or whatever favorite color you have Look back on all of the bad times and in between the lines write what was good I won’t pretend like I don’t cry But hope wouldn’t exist if all times were purely happy now would it? Running and running Through a technicolored dream Of our design together Hope is here Don’t you agree? Don’t you agree This life can be happy!

The one thing I want most is for you to see my point of view. Just for you to hear me talk and maybe hear me this one time.
