Hope
Hope.
We gotta find some hope.
And though it may not float, we can try.
Try to succeed.
Try to be.
Something bigger, and greater than me.
Than you.
Than your brother or your sister. Cause wouldn’t you do anything to fix her?
Like the Red Sox all we need is a miracle,
and I can tell you all lyrical. But it’s not enough.
Won’t be enough.
To see this world change it’s ways.
To come together for a new day.
To lend a hand.
To be a friend. To come together
and stand.
So it’s up to our generation.
To bring this nation.
To the realization.
That hope is more than a word.
And it has got to be heard.
