To Hope

Who is out there that will hear me?

Will you answer my cries?

Is there a future to heed my thoughts?

Or will they be cast into the chasm of the past?

Listen up, I’ve something to say

No really, it’s worth your while

Don’t give up

I’ve lived and learned

There’s better things out there

keep faith and forge on

So if you can hear

My distant whisper on paper

I’m writing to you

because there is hope
