Hope

My first year of college has come to an end I have survived many struggles and made many friends I entered a new world independently Not knowing if I could make it with just only me I had my supporters and friends at home I was scared I could not move on and do it alone I was so attached and needed help to get by Sometimes I could not help myself and just had to cry We all have our struggles and times of need I am so thankful that I can still succeed I took that big step and made it this far And now I have a job and I’m saving for a car I had my ups and downs during my freshman year I even got hit by a Fed Ex truck and I’m glad I’m still here I have been taking those “baby steps” and gone a long way I hope to continue to strive and become something one day I have accomplished many tasks that I thought I would never do I have been able to move forward thanks to people like you I hope you realize what a difference you’ve made I’ve been able to grow and become less afraid You made many sacrifices that you did not have to do Which is why I am so thankful for a person like you If it wasn’t for you I would not be where I am today So I thank you for all your hard work that you had to pay So I thank you and thank you and thank you again For that special person, my dear sweet friend
