Hope
Captured and tied up in chains,
Raped daily and physically abused.
Not fed nor bathed as often as needed.
Abandoned in the basement when company was over,
Forced to watch the news that never addressed her disappearance.
Only freedom she had was being placed on the porch but with a wig and helmet,
So that no one would recognize her and save her.
Most people would have given up hope,
But she kept hers alive by writing letters to her son to give to him one day;
In the dark clouds she still managed to find her ray of light.
The day finally arrived where she was now set free,
From the evil that was casted upon her for eleven years.
Those years have turned into a life lesson;
Hope should never cease even through severe hardships.
Most people would have given up hope,
But she kept hers alive by writing letters to her son to give to him one day;
In the dark clouds she still managed to find her ray of light.
The day finally arrived where she was now set free,
From the evil that was casted upon her for eleven years.
Those years have turned into a life lesson;
Hope should never cease even through severe hardships.
