Hope

Little Brother and I,
We cry sometimes,
No Mommy,
No Daddy,
Alone.

Little Sister and I,
We laugh sometimes,
It’s hard – but we have to try.

Big Brother and I,
We dream sometimes,
Outside the gates – in the sunlight.

Big Sister and I,
We have hope sometimes,
Dwindling that it may be,
But yesterday – we saw a rainbow,
The hope then strengthened me.
