Hope

Hope is all i need,

To help me breath in  time of need,

Hope gives me strength to push on, 

No matter what land I am on.

Through the marshes,

Through the trees,

Through the oceans, above my knees.

Hope is all I need.

Happiness can fade,

Anger can delay,

Hope gives me strength to push on,

Even though all is lost,

Even though all is grey,

Hope makes all of us go through the day.

The hope of finding work for pay,

The hope of finding love to stay,

The hope of living another day. 

No matter what, hope is what I need,

the only thing I need.

Hope is in all of us,

Its the only thing

that drives us.
