Hope

Sun, 02/07/2016 - 22:06 -- 1998mef

If I had no hope, I’d never try again

I’d give up all the love I have, and never try to mend

If I had no hope, I’d stop writing you each day

I’d throw away my pens, and leave my letters in the rain

If I had no hope, I’d disappear without a trace

I’d lose my name and number, and always hide my face

If I had no hope, I don’t know what I’d do

I guess having hope is the reason I love you.
