Hope

I carry my hope on my skin

I wear it on my face just look into my eyes

Dreams die but I don't know why?

A strong vibe in my body

I needn't lose hope I raise my head

I move forward and push on through "this will get better" I said.

As tears stream do my face as I think of it all

But i'm not givng up i'm standing tall

When I live in the moment I notice that there are more like me that say "I can't"

I see the reason for hope, I clench my fist with power and lend a hand and I say "we can!"
