Hope

A single tear holds the most sorrow
A day was here, next there's no tomorrow
A dreamer lost up in his cloud
Reality had to bring him down
Who holds the future now?

A single rose holds a special beauty
For it knows it will never be free
A prisoner trapped beneath the sun
Withers away until its gone
A wasted life is now done

A single moment forms a precious story
Your thoughts arrange and now you hold a memory
But fate steps in to take away
The peaceful feeling you wish to stay
When will there be a better day?

The answer is within a single child
He will work to make efforts worthwhile
That single tear will not be shed
That single rose will not be dead
That single moment will last forever
