Hope

Depression

is a word that holds different meaning for everyone

and can tear even the strongest people down.

Depression

Makes you feel like there is a weight on your chest that weighs a ton

and your body and mind feel like a ghost town.

Depression

is something that I have struggled with for years

and the one thing that keeps me going is hope.

Hope

gets me through the hours of falling tears

and teaches me ways to cope.

Hope

is the one thing I can’t live without

because without it, I wouldn’t be alive.

Hope

washes away all of the doubt

and gives me the drive

to live
