Hope

We, the children of hope Hope against the hopeless future Future that is marred by today's atrocities Atrocities committed by unseemly adults Adults who have no qualms about their actions Actions that beclouds tomorrow's rainbow Rainbow that maybe our succour after the rains Rains that brings no relieve after the scorching heat Heat that was caused by our deeds Deeds that stare us in the face Face that still holds on to hope Hope, which is all we have now.
