A Hope

A ship lost at sea

A ship under a starless sky

A ship one inch from completely shattering

A ship caught in a never ending storm

That ship

That ship

That ship was me

There was no light

There was only darkness

I could not see an end

I was alone

So alone

I wished the waves would take me

At least then I would feel again

At last the darkness could consume me

At last I could fade away

I was ready

But what if there were some stars ahead

What if there was some light

What if the storm ends

What if I just held on

What if there was hope

A hope that is strong

A hope that fights

A hope that holds on

That hope

That hope

That hope is me
