Hope

Hope

Romans 1:2-4

2 This gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures, 3 concerning his Son who was a descendant of David with reference to the flesh,  4 who was appointed the Son-of-God-in-power according to the Holy Spirit by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Spirit proclaimed wisely

how Christ took His Life again.

God Himself at work

no doubts or fears could stand.

In power, He stood again

in totality glorified.

Don’t touch me yet ... He told his friends

until I am magnified.

That glorious day when hope was born

in the answer to the constant cries,

that humanity had thrown up in the air

triggered by desperation deep inside.

Until folks are shown that hope is here

the helpless will still cry as before

No more, no less in time’s sphere

as only the Son offers an open door
