Hope

Its strange…

I wake up and I’m okay.

I have no worries,

It's as though I was just dreaming.

There are no fears in my head.

The leave as soon as they appear.

It's a relief, I don’t feel selfish.

I regret how I felt, but I couldn’t control it.

If I could I would sweep you off your feet.

I would take you on an amazing trip to anywhere.

I would take you to a fancy dinner of your choice.

Overlooking the whole city I would ask you to stay here by my side.

I wish to do this because I have no fears, only hope.

Hope that we can stay together till the end.

Because you are my hope, you make me believe in the world.

It's all thanks to you that I'm here.

That I'm not dead in a ditch, along mile marker 63.

I may sound wrong to you, but you saved me from a dangerous path.

Thank you for that.
