Hope.

Hours in the dark,

Days in the silence.

Weeks of torture,

Months of negligence.

Years in the house that sadness built,

Eons in utter despare.

The girl you see,

She lives there.

But days, months, years in the dark couldn't crush that heart.

That heart lives on.

That heart hopes,

That heart fears,

That heart perseveres.

Into a new chapter it ventures,

To leave that home behind.

Into a fresh start that girl's heart leaves.

To learn about life, and give up the grief.
