Hope is a desire of both good and bad
Hope is something that we all have
Hope is something that really makes me glad
Hope is something that keeps our minds of what is sad

Hope is something that makes me feel alright
Hope is like a shimmer of light

It is as if it has own delight
It is something that I could never despite

But sometimes it feels like its something that makes us feel leashed
But hope is something that can teach
Hope is something that we may reach

Everyone has their own hope and desire
With each goal always getting even higher
