Hope

To be by myself

Is all ive ever known

Ive become my own roadblock

And my deprivation is shown

I become quicksand

And wiggle to go under

Then i hear a sound

And the rope sounded like thunder

My help was there

To help me climb out

But it was my choice

Whether or not to shout

Again and again

I grabbed and lt gp

My mind said im fine

But i was so low

This time i grabbed

And pulled myself away

My hope for my future

My mind is finally at bay
