Hope and Love

Sleepless nights are frequent,

Always dreaming that love is enchanted

I rise everyday thinking of you

Hoping that my 9 am won't be blue

It is you that fills my head

From waking hours until I go to bed

Funny how the apple of my eye

Used to be someone else’s guy

Reminiscing about how it all started,

Hope you remember a very special date

Because at that very moment, I knew

How the butterflies in me flew

Your touches bring me chills

Every touch urges me to kiss

But I always stop and think

That one wrong move might prick

Our every day is like a game

Holding our horses is our aim

Will we ever get a chance?

Will you ever ask me to dance?
