Hope for Change
Darkness sways to your door steps
pain dances in the streets
fear burns the flesh,
little by little.
FEAR becomes the person,
the person becomes an enemy,
the enemy becomes a killer,
the killer becomes a monster,
the monster becomes your ally,
your ally is your friend,
your friend was once a killer,
the killer was once a monster,
that monster was once a person
who was once in fear.
That person has changed,
all the pain went away,
and became LIGHT!
The light became inspiring,
the inspiration began an action,
the action began peace,
peace created hope,
hope began change,
change created a spark,
the spark created a fire,
the fire wormed one heart,
then all hearts began to sing.
