Hope (The Definition of Pain)

A common destination that completes life cycles
The more hope I hope for the more pain brings along
A Tight grip around my heart ceases actions of my other body parts
The love I hold, leaks and evaporates without sight
As time moves forward the less sleep I get
Hope seems to become further and further from me with every waking breath
Sometimes hope may not come I may not wake up, to sight of it or maybe that is my hope
Pending thoughts disables my ability to feel reality
As if it never existed.
I carry the burden of many but many never carry my burden
Finally opened my eyes, my whole family awake
The outside describing my emotions in the exact way
Clouds of grey with the no light anywhere to be found
The soft breeze is the only thing to produce sound
My heart’s surface is damp with sorrow
Wondering if the pain will stop by tomorrow
Disappointment rages as I only awake to shattered dreams
I need someone to stitch my open wounds with new seams
