Hope It Quits

Laying in bed, broken to bits.

My heart is beating, hope it quits.

Too many feelings, my mind is racing.

This problem of mine, is not worth facing.

This is the worst, I’ve ever been hurt.

Thanks for throwing, my heart in the dirt.

I should have known, from the first lie.

That I am not, worth the time.

Of the damage you can do,  I am now aware.

Even though, it wasn’t an affair.

It feels as though it was, it all hurts the same.

To be part,  in your little game.

All empty inside, my soul is dead.

I’m full of despair, I’m full of dread.

Laying in bed, broken to bits.

My heart is beating, hope it quits.
