Hope Lives On

i write songs of love and faith to the broken hearted

when we find ourselves looking for the dreams we once lost

i sing for the hurt and healing to find comfort

when we are fighting the pain we want to surrender

to every teardrop on my guitar is the sounds of love conquering

the bitter souls that been in the dark for far too long

and to every tear drop that falls on the strings i deticate this song to all

all the hearts that need to feel hopes are never gone

i write songs of peace and war to the abandoned

when we reason ourselves we are not good enough

i sing for the wounded and beate to seek a new beginning

when we deny to ourselves weve taken a wrong direction

with this guitar i lay to rest past memories

for its sound is still as beautiful as the hope that lives in it.
