Hope For Me
Although the tunnel isn't so dark
My heart is still empty
Soon I will embark on a journey
That will take me away,
Away from my current darkness
It will change my view
And lighten my mood
Give me new hope for my hopeless thoughts
That were once knocked down
And treaded across
But before this journey
I will face a tragedy
That will ultimately break me
And leave me to mend my broken heart
Which no longer beats properly
