Hope-Town
Tell me why my uncle died before I was alive
He was just like me my momma said
Violent crimes, crazy girls, rejection, bullet had to select him on the beach blood on the sand
Spartacus, Five Iron Frenzy said Spartan that ladies heart was closed so tight
Jesus save me from myself tonight, she had to shoot be cause the feelings weren't mutual
Revenge I feel it, when I was 8 years old started crying for an unknown soul, why
Because my uncle died
Five Shots to the heart, all over
I am throwing my arms around what, nothing becauase my uncle died
Mortem, more to me, Morrisey told me to throw my arms around paris because only stone and steel
Accepts my love
But wait if I am throwing my arms around stone I might as well hug the woman who killed him
I'd yell in her ear just to make sure she is listening
Because at the end of the day my family hurts and she is walking the streets yet again
Short story, this is a short poem, but has more characters than my uncles life
Man the pain cuts deep like a cold knife
The reason why I write is for Hopeton, my uncle, living in Heaven I call it Hopetown
Because I will see him again.
