Hope: The wings of a blackbird

My darling, The blackbird of hope within you can still survive, even with wrecked wings. Let that hope of rainbow strings, Kiss some color into the sky of your colorless spring. Let that blackbird out to sing. Birds of a feather flock together. We were fated to meet each other! Let go of inward strife against the sins; Swift your soul upon the wings, Paint your gray days with the vibrant hues of love, life, the universe, and everything! We may have parted ways, but I know you will sustain ! Oh, darling, walk out in the shower of sweet-smelling rain! Allow your zeal for blue skies to heal all the pain! —Sushmita Pandey ✒️-Sia
