Hope in this World
The world outside is a dangerous place,
Without any compassion, without hope,
With people dishonest and of false face,
And with others at the edge of the rope.
But there is always a way to live here,
No matter how lost and alone you are,
How many people and places you fear,
There are always friends out there, near and far.
There are friends out there who help those like you,
Creating new memories made to last,
Making life more wonderful to live through,
And erasing the sorrow of the past.
Life goes through a cycle of high and low,
But always keep your head up and go slow.
