Hope for you

Walking down the street

Sun right in my eyes

Water pouring down my face

With every breathe taken away

The pressures of being good-over powering

The pressures of paying bills to support my family-over powering

I think day after day

It will get better

I think day after day

I will be hopeful

But then I see his face

The face of a child

The face of my child

The face of our child

And all the over powering feelings go away

And I start to be hopeful

Forgetting about all the yesterdays and hopeful for better tomorrows
