Hopeful
I walk alone
This lonely road
I walk to kindness
Walk straight from hell.
I walk alone
And can't you see
I walk in chains of
My own grief.
I walk alone
And as far as you can tell
I walk for better days
I hope they are well.
Please don't ask me why
‘Cause as far as I can tell
My lonely days are
Served quite well
I walk for pain and
I walk for life
For her suffering,
For his wife
Don't ask me if
You can tag along
I walk this road straight
Straight and alone
Cause I walk alone
Down this lonely road
I've claimed my own
Don't ask me why
For I do not tell
Just walk my long road
Straight from hell
I walk for family,
Walk for friends
Walk for his wife
For all good men
