Hopeful Attributes

I am cheerful for the upcoming season
My friends are giving me an earful about upcoming events
Going to the doctor I was always doubtful of good news
It feels good to say that I am no longer fearful of medical news
Having twice survived cancer I feel powerful and ready to succeed
I never want to be regretful for not taking care of myself
So I strive to be healthful to make my body good
I need to stay mindful of all of my choices
Because I never want to feel vengeful for the decisions I make
Because feeling painful about my actions
Can leave me wrathful of my choices
So I have to feel hopeful for my future success
And I need to be careful I don’t go backwards
Because living joyful is all that I’m after
