Hopefully Stethoscopes Await

Thoughts swallow me whole

All alone no words to share with others who care

I can not escape the pounding from within

Questions scream for answers that never come

Answers to come from anywhere

The future awaits

A lifetime holds no promises

Four years is oh so short

Less than two semesters stand between me and stethoscopes

An entrance exam controls my future

Scrubs or books await

The worries build a bridge to break

My only bridge for me to break

Shall I break or will it only shake

Time will tell

All I can do is study and wait
