Hope(less)

Hopeless. The way you and i feel before we’re asleep.

The feeling that keeps us up, often causing us to weep.

It rushes over me like I’m being drowned,

The worst part is no one is around.

The way i feel when i wish someone would reach out their hands,

And hug me and hold me, oh i can’t stand-

When they call me a crybaby, I’m on this journey alone,

How am i supposed to feel when i can’t pick up my phone - ?

To call someone and ask for help,

I can barely release the faintest of yelps.

Am i waiting for something that will never happen?

All this pain is causing my soul to blacken.

I cannot find happiness, all i see is pain,

Like my whole world was just drained.

But remember life isn’t as complicated as it seems.

Take a deep breath, and let everything be.
