Hopeless Ballad

Hey there Miss Perfect, girl of my dreams.
This has taken too long; or so it seems.
But I'll give it my all,
Just to find out it's not enough.

So you've already got a man?
Well he can't love you like I can.
With him you shine, yeah, you fucking gleam.
But with me you'll blind, you'll make them scream.

This is a hopeless ballad, so it seems,
But I'll still see you in my dreams.
