Hopeless Believer

Desperation sinks in

Tears come streaming down

Pain lances through

Screaming headache, tearing heart

Exasperation knocks me down

Ah, depression is currently at bay

No one’s around

Not a single soul to talk things with

Many a times many of us probably

Have gone through this

This bitter phase, bitter but sweet life

Dark rings surrounding weary watery eyes

Pale tear-streaked face

Wobbly lower lip

Trembling feet

Evidences that despair really

Drops by for a short visit

What to do now

Where to go

Oh Mama, I need you

Just being beside the woman

I dearly treasure and admire

Calms my racing heart, unwinds my crowded mind

If only magic and fantasy were real

I’ll gladly be a child for ever

For a child never stops believing

For a child is never too sad…
