The Hopeless Longing of The Day

Come to me in my dreams,

Then by day I shall be well again!

For then the night will more than pay,

The hopeless longing of the day.

Come as thou come a thousand times,

Memories of loving deed's and Lover's rhymes.

Be as kind to others as to me,

Smile on the new world that is to be.

Does thou feel as so low,

Come now open your mind and let it grow.

She parts my hair then kiss my brow,

I look at her and ask my love why suffer thou?

Come to me in my dreams,

Then by day I shall be well again.

For then the night will more than pay,

The hopeless longing of the day...

THE END
