To The Hopeless Romantics

You fall in love like your shoes are untied.

And as you're stumbling over your own love ties

You say the most beautiful things.

"Your eyes are my favorite color"

But your favorite color was red

Until she looked at you in the sun.

You love with all you are

As if love was an element and you are pure.

You would do anything for her

"I'm always here for you"

And she will take you up on that

When she is crying on the phone

Dear hopeless romantics

You see the best in those you love

You own a pair of custom rose tinted glasses

You write poetry in your veins

You see stars in freckles

Planets in split ends

Solar systems on chapped lips

Love in those impossible.
