Hopes and Desires

Hopes and Desires Hold me like mire Stuck in a dream I always aspire. 'Still', I say With the wave of my hand Yet on they go Rumbling once again. In my brain and on my Skin. Rustling like the wind Let me be at peace Not to long for things Silly and steep. Hold me firm to what I know For that's good And sturdy Still unknown. Greater than myself I rise, to meet my Dreams, high; Up so high But when shall I return To plant my feet back on the Earth? Time will tell. Now or Then.
