Hopes and Dreams

Hopes and dreams are exactly what they seem Beaming and gleaming as if I’m ready to see Floating into a lifeless land of eternity That pours out various specs of worthless uncertainty Digging into the curtains of self worth Stretching so far Forgetting there’s a missing piece from that lyrical bar Can you watch and see how anxiety crushes the mind Going and blowing as if it’s their time Risking that endless shine Many times I feel blind to the idea of power It becomes fossils that are left to the unknown Already set to be postpone Searching through the maps of life Picking out the pieces of deleted pride It travels like a runaway bride Dashing through the rushing winds And soaring forward to the dangerous lanes of vicious sins Threaten to laugh Because I was crazy to believe that I was a one of a kind Exhausted with the thought that I’ll be find Hopes and dreams are exactly what they seem Or is just that awful scream tormenting me
