Hopes Silver Lining
Clear blue sky as the sun shines bright,
Birds fly high not a cloud in the sky,
You're alive and breathing you fought the good fight,
You beat back the problems with will power and might,
You continue on about your day trying to live your life,
But your mind keeps remembering the heartache and strife,
You're heart beats faster as the pressure builds up,
A sickening feeling like a knot in your gut,
You look up above the blue sky is gone,
A dark cloud has formed and blocked out the sun,
The temperature drops its now gloomy and cold,
That positive attitude you no longer hold,
The dark clouds are heavier and thicker it seems,
But the sun keeps fighting with bright piercing beams,
The dark cloud is weakened and the sun is still shining,
You're left standing there staring at hopes silver lining.
