Horizon

Standing on a cliff

nothing could miss

I look to the gound

at the people with no sound

My hair blown from my face

cold wind and salt I taste

I watch the ocean tide

I listen to the crashing waves alone

the beautiful sun rays are shone

throughout the entire sky

to the heavens they are high

As the sun sets in the horizon

it goes ever so slowly until it is gone

but not after lwaving behind

a rainbow of colors etched in mind

Soon the dark paints its way

across the sky for a while to stay

the moon casts a shadow bight

enhancing the waters gleam all night

But stillI stay in my place

for to move there is no race

To leave the beauty of the view

whree I feel so free and new
