Horton's empathizer

I walk down the street and all I see are the empty dreams that were once held in the hands of all who lived there The dogs don't bark the cats don't meow and the cars go by without a sound it feels like I'm the only one around Life is a gift we need to care for it like a helpless little baby There is only one You and there is only one Me there is only us, and that is all there will ever be I am a citizen, a dreamer, a poet but like our friend Horton, who knows it best "A person's a person. No matter how small." You have your chance to make a change and who knows how it starts? You need to be the once to open the cage...
