Hot Thief Night

My mother once told me that the

Thief came to her at the black twilight hours of

Night, when the only light was the white

Hot moon in the black sheet sky. The

Thief took away her most precious gem and treasure that

Night as she dreamt of timely love and mother nature's gifts. But she felt

Hot skin touch her mind as she swore her eyes were shut tight; The

Thief had left a treasure of his own for her to steal away into the

Night. But this gift was my mother's and not that of

Hot starry skies or the pale faced moon or the black shade of the

Thief. I see now why I dwell more in the

Night then under blue and white stains, or in green patches, looking up to the

Hot singular star. I do not belong to the

Thief. I was born in the

Night. My life burns in mother's mind

Hot.
