Hours of turmoil

Hours of turmoil Years of strife Gallons of blood spilled In the blink of an eye They tell you to go, Continue to fight You just stare at the ground So afraid to die The powers that be; send you onward Never stop never look back It’s all a game to them You’re just a number To fight for those you don’t even know If it is honorable then why does it fell so cold? The blood of billions has been shed in war but for what? Land, money, power. In the end it all means nothing So what does that make you the victor of? Nothing.
